About Us
Circleville City Schools is located in Pickaway County, Ohio. With newly constructed schools, the Circleville City School campus was officially completed in 2015 with three buildings: Circleville Elementary School, Circleville Middle School, and Circleville High School.
The Instrumental Music Department consists of Middle School Concert Bands for grades 6-8, High School Concert Band for grades 9-12, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, and various chamber ensembles.
In addition, private lessons are available and encouraged for all instrumental students in grades 6-12. Taking private lessons is one of the best ways to improve individual musicianship.
The Marching Band is the most visible aspect of the instrumental music department. However, the Concert Bands are at the core of the program. In the concert bands, students will learn fundamental skills and be exposed to the finest literature in the concert band repertoire. Each ensemble has multiple performance opportunities throughout the year, including parades, OMEA Marching and Concert Band events, OMEA Solo and Ensemble events, and the Circleville Pumpkin Show.
